Five Phase Development Workflow
The process begins with Brettrospective Media determining how your customers perceive your business, how you want your customers to view your organization, and what information would make your Web site most useful to your customers.
Phase 1: Discovery
Brainstorming and free-flow of ideas about audience, content, interface design principles, colors, and imagery begins. All ideas are compiled into a few deliverables that drive and focus the project.
Phase 2: Information Architecture
The point at which suggested content is categorized into a navigation scheme and rough drafts of content are begun. User testing begins here.
Phase 3: Interface Design
An iterative process where a few design treatments are created based on questions asked and thoughts provided in Step 1. Content becomes more finalized.
Phase 4: Development
Interface design is complete and HTML coding begins. Production-ready page templates are created based on information revealed and finalized in Steps 1, 2, and 3.
Phase 5: Turnkey
The final web site is placed into production and all final deliverables are given to the client. The client is trained to maintain his own site using Adobe Contribute.
